Could this be an adaptation of my favorite underappreciated Louisa May Alcott novel, Rose in Bloom? Naturally, I had to know more. I found something really surprising: A 1964 Italian TV mini series called Rosella. Back in August of 2022 when I was doing Alcott Adaptation August (a month where I watched and reviewed every single adaptation of Little Women that I could reasonably find still need to finish my reviews of 20), I was scouring IMDb for anything that Louisa May Alcott had a writing credit on. ![]()
